Emma Stone
Emily Jean Stone was born to Krista Jean
Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 6 8th,
1988. She is a homemaker. Jeffrey Charles Stone is the founder and CEO of the
company that contracts for work, Stone Contracting. She is of Swedish, German
and British Isles descent. Stone began her acting career in her youth as a
Valley Youth Theatre member in Phoenix, Arizona. She made her stage debut in
Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows." Stone was a part of
numerous productions throughout her teens until, at the age of 15 she made the
decision to make acting her career. The official version of the story is that
she made an PowerPoint presentation, backed by Madonna's "Hollywood"
and later titled "Project Hollywood", in attempt to persuade her
parents to let her abandon school and relocate to Los Angeles. After the pitch
was accepted, she and her mother relocated to LA. She continued to study at
home, and also auditioned. She got her TV breakthrough when she won the role of
Laurie Partridge in the VH1 show, a reality and talent show In Search of the
Partridge Family (2004) that resulted in a variety of smaller TV parts in the
subsequent years. After a string of success with her part as Olive in Easy A
(2010) was her debut in a film. Attended Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix,
Arizona. Although she's known as a redhead, her natural hair shade is blonde.
Judd Apatow was the one who suggested that she change her natural hair color
for Superbad (2007). It was so popular that she decided to keep it. She
convinced her parents to let her move to Hollywood when she reached the age of
15 by making an PowerPoint presentation with the title, Project Hollywood. She
began acting at the age of 11 years old in Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. Here
she appeared on 16 stages, and took part in the comedy improv troupe of the
theatre. Caylee Cowan was also a part of the Valley Youth Theatre.
