Lil Yacthy is a rapper and singer. His song "One Night" is his most well-known song. Miles Parks McCollum, his real name is Miles Parks McCollum. He is also known under the names Nautica Boat Boy and Lil Boat. The two mixtapes he released, "Summer Songs 2" and "Lil Boat", helped him to become a household name. It wasn't his first attempt at singing. His initial recognition came in August of 2015 with his two singles 'One Night' and 'Minnesota'. These tracks were released on the debut EP, Extended Play, called "Summer Songs.. His current label roster includes  Capital Records as well as a  Quality Control Music and  Motown Records. Yachty has collaborated with famous hip-hop artists like 'D.R.A.M. and "Chance the Rapper," among other rappers. Yachty is also selling his own merchandise on his website. The website provides glimpses into Yachty's private life as in updates on upcoming shows or performances as well as tour dates. The website as well as Yachty's social media pages are an abundance of information about Yachty's music as well his everyday life. Lil Yatchy was a student at Pebblebrook Highschool and was employed by McDonald's. It was there that he met fellow hopeful producers and rappers. Yachty signed up at Alabama State University as a graduate student, but he left after a period of two months. From his early period, Yachty was inspired by music that was different and defied the conventional wisdom. He was inspired by his father who introduced him to many styles of music. In 2015, he opted for the moniker "Yachty" and relocated from Atlanta to New York, in order to be a household name in the world of. In New York, he stayed with a friend and looked for ways to enter the music industry. In the meantime, he hung out with street fashion bloggers online and also built a solid following on Instagram. He teamed up with Burberry Perry, producer and beat maker and later with his second main collaborator K$upreme. They're collectively referred to as "The Saling Team" and they worked with Lil Yachty in her bedroom. His first breakthrough came when Drake's OVO Sound Radio aired his popular track 'Minnesota'. His track "1Night" was Lil Yachty's breakthrough smash. The track's video was uploaded on the internet and soon became a sensation. He was the center of media interest after the SoundCloud version of "One Night" was included in an online meme.
