Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix is a Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a primary school teacher in Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed an early talent for sports when she was studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting ability at the at the time. She finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks after her very first tryout. In 2003, Felix graduated from high school and signed a professional deal with the company that makes sports Adidas before enrolling in the University of Southern California where she studied elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic medal at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record in the 200-meter race with a time of 22.18. The youngest to win the 200 meters during the World Championships held in Helsinki in the year 2005. She won her medal once again in 2007, by beating long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top three in all of her events in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
