Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed an early talent for sports when she was attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix discovered her athletic potential at the at the time. In only 10 weeks following her first attempt, Felix was second in the 200 meters race of the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix finished high school in 2003 and was signed by Adidas an agreement as an athlete in professional competition. The following year she was a student at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic award at 2004's Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s which set an all-time junior world record. She became the youngest world athlete to win the 200 meters at the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007 beating long-time Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and has consistently ranked within the top three athletes in each of her events.
